Convenient travel sized water purification kit. Take it on the road with you to generate a chlorine dioxide solution (CDS) at 3000ppm. You can use it to kill off any waterborne microorganisms; including Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Microsporidia, Clostridium, E. coli, Salmonella, Hepatitis, Norovirus, Desmodesmus, etc.
There is enough of the solutions (2oz NaClO₂ and 2oz HCl) to make over 162oz / 10 pints / 5 quarts / 4.8 liters of concentrated 3000ppm CDS.
Contents:
a. Pyrex glass reactor/receiver - Premarked, with plastic lid with silicone seal enough for producing 400ml of CDS
b. NaClO₂ - Sodium Chlorite 2oz. (or 4oz) solution at 28% dilution in distilled water
c. HCl - Hydrochloric Acid ACS reagent grade (highest purity) 2oz. (or 4oz) solution at 5% dilution in distilled water
d. BH Supplies 10ml luer slip syringe for solutions measurement and pick up of reaction residue
e. 30ml mixing cup and wood stirrer
f. Silicone collapsible funnel
g. LaMotte high range ClO₂ test strips - 50 strips
h. Luer slip syringe caps - 2 caps
i. Basik 10ml silicone O-ring syringe
Plus 500ml HDPE amber bottle with cap, for CDS storage
